Who We Are
Bartending Unlimited was created from a simple desire to provide top notch bar service in a smoke free environment. After years working in the Durham Club scene and returning home smelling of cigarette smoke, Darius decided there had to be an alternative to the smoke filled club environment. Truly loving the bartending industry and desiring to continue servicing clients, he researched the market place and found a perfect niche, mobile bartending! After eighteen months of research, Bartending Unlimited was born in August 2004.

We provide bar services for large, small, family or corporate occasions. Our services are customizable to meet the desired needs of each client's event. We provide experienced bartenders or complete turn-key service including the bar, glassware, the NC Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission permit, etc. We purchase, transport and serve your selection of beverages. Darius & Contonna Peterson
Darius Peterson is CEO/Co-Founder of Bartending Unlimited, LLC. Darius’ extensive experience with management supervision, customer support and sales experience began at GTE in 1993 and continues presently at Spectrum (formaly Time Warner Cable). He maintained “Top Two” status for retail revenue at Cingular Wireless, consistently generated “Top Ten” customer sales revenue at GTE and revised the staff guidelines for customer support at IBM.
Contonna Peterson is CFO/COO/Co-Founder of Bartending Unlimited, LLC. Contonna’s management experience began in 1991 at North Carolina Central University and includes Kay Jewelers, Wingate Inn and the Clarion Hotel. Her event planning expertise began in 1987 and in 2007 she became a Certified Event Planner and Bridal Consultant. In 2006, Contonna was certified as an Entrepreneurship Consultant. She has 10 years of private residential property management experience. She has been a notary public since 1999.
